The maximum vertical speed acquired during the free-fall from the Colossus Bridge is 28 m/s – this is more than 100 km/h. The free-fall lasts for approximately 5 seconds and one can jump with rain or shine, anytime of the day. In fact, many choose to try the night bungee jump offered by the Bungee Center there; an admittedly unique experience!

In the surroundings of Veglio-Mosso, where the Colossus Bridge is, visitors can enjoy many other things. A small open-air museum is telling the story of the bridge and how it revived an entire valley and its economy after a disastrous flood in 1968. The, formerly known as, Pistolesa Bridge was built to unite Old Man and Mosso after the flood destroyed the road that used to connect the two. More adventure parks and a ropes course are located around the area to complete your day’s adventure after the jump.
