What if someone tells you that windsurfing can be also transformed into art? TRUE WIND is a windsurf and art project series that Max Matissek, a freestyle windsurf professional, involves his passion to mix abstract windsurfing performance and imagination with reality. The athlete picks up some out-of-the-common locations to perform windsurfing while he is getting photographed and put on canvas for him. The chosen main shot is getting painted so as to create a unique mixed media piece of art.

The first TRUE WIND project has been shot in Vienna/Simmering – Wien Kanal Speicher, an underground rainwater reservoir. Enjoy this unique perspective of freestyle windsurfing being transformed into art.
