Euboea is the second largest island in Greece, located on the eastern coast of Central Greece and is worldwide known for the extraordinary natural phenomenon of the tide's changes, taking place on the Euripus strait.

Fylla is a picturesque mountain village with a rich valley, full of vineyards and fruit trees. The spot was named after the green lush nature that surrounds the village throughout the year. With long and interesting history, the village has many ancient monuments as well as an old castle, standing on the top of the hill, named Kasteli.

One of the best ways to discover the area and combine fun with sightseeing is to plan an organized tour with mountain bikes. Fylla Village Trail starts from Lefkanti Kite Park and takes you onto a ride full of scenic views as it goes through medieval towers, bridges and castles. The trail is 30 km/18.6 mi long, lasting about six hours biking to cover the distance, while you can enjoy some sweet single track mountain biking.

The trail is suitable for bikers of all skill levels, however a good physical condition is a prerequisite to hit the trail. The best season for this ride is from early spring to late fall, when you can enjoy the blooming nature and the warm Mediterranean climate.
