It is surrounded by the sunbathed peninsula and the beautiful waters of the Indian Ocean. It offers a mild climate all year round, making it a perfect winter break destination. The weather is influenced by the Aghulas current of the Indian Ocean and by the presence of the Outeniqua mountains.
On the foot of Robinson Pass, at 35 km/21 mi from Mossel Bay, there is an amazing mountain biking trail. The trail, known as Eight Bells is a circular route covering a distance of 47 km/29 mi. Biking here allows you to explore the forest and fynbos of the Outeniquas.
