The 6th stop of the QParks Tour, Sick Trick Tour Open 2017 was completed on the 19th of February in Snowpark Kitzbühel, Austria with highly motivated and on fire young riders. Although the contest was postponed from Saturday to Sunday due to not so good weather conditions – Sunday offered a nice bluebird weather for a top-notch atmosphere at the Sick Trick Tour Open.

Franz Lechner, the park designer, presented an amazing setup consisting of the industry railline and the kickerline. On industry railline riders were judged on their performance while on the kickerline they had to show off their skills on 3 differently sized jumps. For those who managed to show off their sickest moves, goodies from Blue Tomato, Element3, the Segway Station Kitzbühel, as well as QParks, AMPLIFI and Pinetime Clothing as well as a cash prize worth a total of 5.000€.

Besides the prizes, freeski riders were also competing for important points for the ÖSV Freeski-Cup, the QParks Freeski Tour, the Austria Cup and the TSV Freeski-Regional Cup. Results for the freeski contest are:

Category Men Over 18: 1st Maximilian Noppeney – 2nd Fabian Kettner – 3rd Peter Tschallener. Fabian Kettner also got the best trick award for pulling off a stylish 270

Category Men Under 18: 1st Mani Lerchbaumer – 2nd David Wolf  – 3rd Mathias Voithofer

Women’s ranking: 1st Lisi Gram  – 2nd Selina Jägeron  – 3rd Tamara Schmidon

Snowboarders were also showing off their best moves for the cash prize, cool goodies and the points for the QParks Snowboard Tour, the WSPL Ranking of the World Snowboard Tour as well as the World Rookie Rank and here are the results:
