At the end of last month the 4th QParks Tour, the Blue Tomato Plan P 2017 took place in Schladming, Austria, and, boy oh boy, we had an amazing time! The riders were hungry for action from early on and it was 9am when the competition started with all the freestyle moves dominating the atmosphere and sharing the athletes’ passion for their sport. The Blue Tomato Plan P 2017 park’s designer, Pavel Stratil, did an amazing job in keeping the contest line in superb condition, so that both riders and spectators could have the most of it! The sunshine of the weekend was the cherry on top!

With the riders chasing each other from as early as the warm-up session, to progress from the qualification rounds to the finals was a real tough one. The freeski competition was dominated by three Autrian riders. Michi Tschallener, who also bagged the Blue Tomato Best Trick award, finished in 1st position, with Johannes Rohrmoser and Johannes Rudigier coming in 2nd and 3rd respectively. In the ladies category, Lisi Gram was the queen of the contest, with Selina Jäger and Tamara Schmid in 2nd and 3rd. Nico Egger won the Groms category, followed by Elias Wechner and Kilian Wolfram.

The snowboarding contest was equally as hard.  Leon Vockensperger from Germany was the king of the slope. The 18-year-old German had a strong qualification round and fairly won the title and the Blue Tomato Plan P Best Trick award! His Frontside 10 Tailgrab was totally worth it! Alois Lindmoser from Austria, also had an impressive performance which landed him on the 2nd place, with Noah Vicktor from Bavaria finishing in 3rd. Klara Dinold (AUT) won the ladies category, followed by Emma Lantos and Romy Van Vreden in 2nd and 3rd place respectively. Moritz Breu (GER) was the best in the Groms Category, with Stan Pauli and Bono Kraljkow following in 2nd and 3rd. Follow the links to see the complete list of the Snowboard and Freeski ranking.
