However, the main attraction of the city for the BMX fans is the Santiago del Estero Sports Center. With more than 40 hectares of space, the BMX track is home to many national and international competitions and is considered to be the best BMX Super-cross track in Latin America.
It has been recently remodeled to fit the highest UCI standards. It has an iconic Double Start Ramp built out of concrete, which provides the riders with a fast and challenging terrain. The highest ramp is at 26.2 ft/8 m high and it can make you fly! The bike park also hosts the UCI BMX SX World Cup, where some of the best BMX riders compete in skills and style.
During the competitions there are even more events and shows that take place in the sports center and around the city. Santiago del Estero has a long tradition in BMX with many great athletes and many places to ride your bike. So don’t just stay in the park, you can discover the whole city with your BMX, meet people, learn new tricks and have fun.
