Hilo hosts its own international airport right outside the city, about 10 minutes away by car, with unfortunately no public transportation available from the airport. Hillo’s Breakwall is visible from Bayfront beach, but in order to get there you need to take a boat from Hilo Harbour. It is easy to find, with a world class powerful wave quality, taking both right and left directions.
