Big Eds beach is right after Kahului Harbour on the right. It provides with a regional classic wave quality for experienced surfers only. The power of the wave is fast and fun to ride. The wave direction is coming from the right and the sea is rocky.
The wind direction is coming from Southeast and the size of the swell starts working at 2 m/6 ft and holds up to 5 m/16 ft. Kahului Harbour has a few surfers only during weekends due to the extreme surfing conditions. Surfers should be careful of rip currents, urchins, rocks, buoys and sharks.
