Mount Shasta is inside Shasta – Trinity National Forest. Mount Shasta is the second highest volcano in the Cascade Range. The rivers are Upper Sacramento River, Trinity River and California Salmon River. Skill level on Upper Sacramento River is Class IV to V, skill level on Trinity River is all skill levels and skill level on California Salmon river is Class IV and V. Spring boaters can raft on the Upper Sacramento River at Sims, only half an hour away from Mount Shasta.

There are many options like class II float trips, heart pumping class IV thrill rides and multiple day excursions. Float trips on Klamath River give an opportunity to enjoy the natural breathtaking beauty, along with Siskiyou County’s wild rivers.
