Squaw Valley Ski Resort is located in Olympic Valley, California, USA. It is one of the largest ski areas in the US after Heavenly and was the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics.
In 2012 it joined forces with Alpine Meadows, offering access to 6000 ac/24.28 km², 43 lifts and over 270 trails. The resort has a new SnoVentures Activity Zone that offers snowmobiling. Rent a sled and ride through the valley on over 100 mi/161 km.
Enjoy the breathtaking scenery with the powdered snow covering the trees, the rocks and the flowers. The snowmobile, oval, groomed loop is in front of the lodge, which is remodeled and adjacent to the parking area. There are all ability levels.
Stuff are professionals and friendly. It is highly recommended that you make a reservation. If you get cold, try drinking a hot chocolate or eat something light, before going for your ride.
