Baltimore is the largest city in the state of Maryland, U.S. It is also the 26th largest city in the whole country and the second biggest seaport in the Mid-Atlantic United States and is located closer to Midwestern markets than any other important port on the East Coast. Baltimore lies in the central area of the state, lengthwise the tidal section of the Patapsco River, an arm of the Chesapeake Bay.

Thanks to its natural beauty and many attractions that are the focal points of visitors, Carroll Park is one of ten best points of Baltimore. It is the third country landscape park of Baltimore with an early development of the park system.

Choose to practice BMX in a 117 ac/0.47 km² park and get as much tired as you can. Every year the park hosts the German Festival, which offers music, art performances, food and crafts to its visitors. The park’s construction allows you to hit all the sections in one run. You will find a nice mix of street and vert and a fine 5 ft/1.52 m bowl section in the back. However, transitions can be lumpy and lots of flat bottoms can reduce your speed.

For those who are getting easily bored, Carroll Park organizes many competitions, which you can take part in and enjoy this activity. In order to exercise this sport in Carroll park, you are kindly requested to follow some rules. Don’t park on the grass, don’t bring dirty bikes or alcohol and please protect the trees. Pay attention, the speed limit on park roads is 15 mph/24.14 kph.
