Meall Buidhe is an incredible mountain, which lies in the Knoydart area.
This is one the three mountains in the Knoydart area and the altitude is 946 m / 3103 ft. It is considered a rough and rocky mountain, but with magnificent views and beauty. As it is next to Luinne Bheinn Mountain, you can combine your tour by hiking on both mountains.
There are quite a few routes to the top and whatever route you follow, you need a considerable effort for climbing. However, while you are on top, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the nearby mountains, lakes and the islands.
Try to participate in a qualified group with experience, as the conditions sometimes are dreadful. Accessibility to the location is possible only by boat from Mallaig, so arrange your arrival time along with the boat’ s time-schedule.
