Churchmans Brook is a very popular location for rock climbing and abseiling. A lot of rock climbing enthusiasts consider this place as one of the best in the Perth region because of the selection of its grades and the easy access. Graded between 14 and 21 and classified as easy to hard, the spot is suitable for all different levels. In addition,the cliff is up to 30 m/98.4 ft high, with 60 routes among the grades.
Furthermore, it can seep for a few days after heavy rain, so it is advisable to wear helmets. It is worth to mention that the spot is well developed in terms of established routes. The cliff is pretty sunny during the day, especially in summer. Last but not least, the ideal period for rock climbing is from September to May.
