Zadar is a picturesque historical town, located in the northern tip of the Dalmatian Region and is bordered by the Adriatic Sea. As it is the ancient capital city of Dalmatia, the city is an amazing blend of ancient and medieval architecture along with vibrant nightlife, beautiful beaches, cultural events and many days of sunshine.

Zadar offers a humid Mediterranean climate with mild, wet winters and hot humid summers. The average high temperatures reach up to 30°C /86°F and more during the summer months while the average minimum temperatures during winter are at 7.7°C /46°F.

Not far from the city’s center, a 315.3 m/1034 ft long steel arch bridge is calling for the daring ones to defy gravity and bungee jump from a height of 56 m/183.7 ft. Maslenica Bridge is the highest bungee jump in Croatia and offers the visitors amazing views and high adrenaline jumps.

The bridge was originally built in 1961 and was damaged by heavy traffic and poor maintenance. It was reconstructed in 2005 and until now, it carries the D8 state road. As it is located on a narrow passage of  the Adriatic Sea over a beautiful valley, the scenery is perfect as your falling down.

The bungee rope stops at about 5 m/16.4 ft above the surface of the sea and there is a boat waiting to pick you up and take you back to the shore. This jump is suitable for both beginner and advanced jumpers and the best season to visit is during summer.
