Have you ever tried the well-known bungee jumping? If you have, you should know that this sport is so extraordinary as no other. If you have not, here's your chance to try it!
The O2 Arena is a top destination to exert this extreme sport. It’s exactly in the center of the O2. The O2 is located in the UK, on London’s Greenwich peninsula. It was built largely within the former Millennium Dome, a large dome-shaped building, which was built to house an exhibition celebrating the turn of the third millennium.
The O2 Arena is now one of London’s most famous venues thanks to the incredible comedy, music and other performances. It has the second-highest seating capacity of any indoor venue across the UK, behind the Manchester Arena, but took the crown of the world’s busiest music arena from New York’s Madison Square Garden in 2008. Standing at 52 m/170 ft high in the center, 365 m/1197 ft wide and housing 12 yellow support towers visible on the roof, it’s a fascinating piece of architecture. Furthermore, inside the impressive building is a whole host of superb restaurants and entertainment facilities, including a cinema and a great selection of bars.
Performing bungee jumping here, you can jump from a crane at 48 m/160 ft with the magnificent views of The Thames, Canary Wharf and what is more, Central London. What you need to wear depends on the weather. You may deal with a monsoon so, choose a comfortable outfit in combination with boots, or anything that may interfere with ankle harnesses otherwise they will have to be removed prior to jumping. To complete a training program takes no longer than 3 hours, so it’s nice to try!
There is no reason for not coming to admire and walk the beautiful footpaths, or taste some different flavors that only London can offer you. This could be your vacation alongside your bungee jumping experience. Free yourself onto the elastic cord and enjoy it!
