Sandwich Bay nestles between Ramsgate and Deal. It is a large, shingle beach, that is very popular for the adventure sport lovers, especially for kite-surfers. Whether you are a beginner, or simply wanting to brush up on your skills, this is the place to be! The location accommodates almost any wind direction, although it is best surfed in southeast wind.

In addition, the size of the swell starts working at less than 1 m/3 ft. The optimum time to visit the spot is summer, due to higher water temperature. It is advisable to avoid the north end of the beach, as it is a bird sanctuary. In the end, the site provides with facilities, including toilets and a car park with a toll charge.
