Bracklesham Bay is a coastal bay, located on the west side of the Manhood Peninsula. The sandy beach is popular with divers, windsurfers and surfers. It is an exposed beach break that is great around mid tide. The best wind direction is from the north and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. In addition, surfers are able to explore the waves with swell sizes that can start from 1 m/3 ft and hold up to 2 m/6 ft.
In summer, the wind blows offshore at 12%, in autumn the wind blows at 10%, in winter at 10% and in spring at 12%. Furthermore, the surf break is suitable for surfers of all levels. Moreover, the best tide movement is rising tides and the ideal tide position is mid and high tide. Keep in mind that, it is a crowded site, when it works. Finally, Bracklesham caters good facilities, including facilities for disabled people. Note: be careful of rips and undertow.
