Torreira beach is part of a 25 km/15 mi expanse of infrangible sand. The dunes in combination with the Atlantic waters it seems to be a nice place for a break. But if you like the beach-break waves, then Torreira beach is the right place.

From September to April you can explore the big waves with swell sizes often around 6 ft/1.8 m but it can reach from 9 ft/2.7 m to 15 ft/4.5 m. Autumn and Winter tend to have strong winds, excellent for windsurf. During summer, the waves are more friendly to you with swell size around 4 ft/1.2 m and weak offshore winds (17%).
