Ayia Napa offers a typical Mediterranean climate with hot and dry summers and mild rainy winters. The hot summer season starts from mid May until mid October with average high temperatures at 32°C/90°F while during winter the average temperatures are no lower than 7°C/45°F.
Makronissos Beach is situated on the west end of Ayia Napa and it is actually a beach, bordered by two smaller sandy bays. The main beach is wide with soft white sand and incredible crystal clear sea, offering a wide variety of water sports. One of the great things to do while on holidays in Ayia Napa, is to take a para-sailing flight and enjoy bird’s eye views of the surrounding area.
Para-sails can now hold up to five people and this can be a great adventure to share with your friends or family.
