Squaw Valley is the perfect place for bicycling. There are biking trails in Squaw Valley, considered as some of the best in the country. One of the most beautiful trails for leisurely bicycling is Lake Tahoe. Begin your journey in Squaw Valley and ride besides the Truckee River all the way down to the sparkling blue waters of the Lake Tahoe.
The trail is separated from Route 89 and provides a view of wonderful landscape during the tour in the Tahoe area. There are three well known bike paths to follow, Squaw/Tahoe City, a 7.1 mi/12.3 km bike path, North Lake, a 2.1 mi/4.4 km bike path and West Shore, a 9.6 mi/15 km bike path. You can rent bikes and equipment in The Village.
