Ushuaia has a subpolar oceanic climate with warm summers and cool winders. The city is surrounded by Magellanic subpolar forest rich in flora and fauna with several recreation activities. Martial Glacier is located at a few miles in the northwest of the Ushuaia City and is a natural wonder, attracting many visitors, from all over the world. The glacier stands at 3445 ft/1050 m above sea level and is one of the most important fresh water sources in Ushuaia. In order to reach the canopy field, once you park your car, you follow a well marked trail that skirts the Good Hope stream and takes you through an amazing forest. Ushuaia canopy field offers two circuits. The long circuit provides nine zip lines and two suspension bridges.
This route is really fun and the characteristics of the suspension bridges are perfect for the more adventurous enthusiasts. The short circuit hosts seven zip lines and is ideal for groups and beginners. Canopying in Ushuaia is like flying at the “End of the World” through trees.
