Rising from the Eastern Cape and running along the Kwazulu-Natal's western border, the Drakensberg mountain range is the highest in South Africa standing at 3482 m/11424 ft in height. The mountains are capped by a layer of basalt of 1400 m/4593 ft thick and offers amazing flora and fauna.

The Blue Grotto Forest in the Winterton area offers an epic canopying tour with breathtaking views and has over 150 bird species. The magnificent forest has the longest canopy tour in South Africa and allows you to glide through platforms perched in trees and cliff faces.

The spot provides with 12 slides cross-crossing over, below and even through the indigenous forest canopy and up to 60 m/197 ft high. Canopying here is open to all and sundry and no need of experience. Advance booking is necessary while minimum pax is 2 and maximum pax is 6.
