Macon is situated in central Georgia, USA. It is part of the Macon metropolitan area and was founded at the fall line of the Ocmulgee River. Macon belongs to Bibb County and is the county seat. Nicknamed as the Heart of Georgia, it is one of the most popular spots for off road sports.

Near Macon lies one of the most spectacular, urban, man-made, off road parks. Paradise Offroad Park, as its name states, is a motocross paradise. The park is opened during selected days, so it is suggested to call before you haul. Please visit the website, in order to be informed about opening schedule and regulations.

The motocross track is private and offers miles of woods trails, a main track and a peewee track. Miles in total are 30+ mi/48.2+ km and the trails lie at an elevation of 400 to 450 ft/122 to 137 m. Hazards in the park are few and assumed to be marked, but still drive with caution.

The area is most suitable for amateurs, but novices and experts can still enjoy a nice ride. The MX track has a 40 man, concrete gate start. The one way loops for trail riding are well marked. The track is 1.4 mi/2.2 km long consisting of a 50 ft/15.2 m table extension, an uphill triple step up and a variety of 50 and 60 ft/15.2 and 18.2 m table tops.

Camping is allowed, primitive or with RV and is not free. The RV hookups are available along with showers and restrooms. You will also come across a fishing pond and a repair shop. Bear in mind that if you want to ride your dirt bike, there is a fee per rider and that a membership is required. It is suggested to spend at least the entire day, in order to enjoy the dirt!
