Mandurah is the second-largest city in Western Australia and it is situated at about 72 km/45 mi in the south of the capital city, Perth. The climate is classified as Mediterranean, with hot and dry summers and cool and wet winters. The seaside town and all the section of the coastline attract a large number of tourists and sport enthusiasts all year long.

Geeries is located in the south of Mandurah and provides with the right conditions for surfing and windsurfing. Windsurfers are able to explore the waves with swell sizes that can hold up to 3.5 m/12 ft. The best wind direction is from the east, southeast and the ideal swell direction is from the west, southwest.

In addition, the spot is suitable for windsurfers of all levels. Keep in mind that, it is a popular site, so it is usually crowded, especially during weekends.
