Sintra is located near Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal. It has become a major tourist center, visited by people from all around the world. Sintra has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its 19th-century ravishing architecture and landscapes.

It’s dominated by precipitous mountains and fascinating forests. Moorish castle and Pena palace are one of the reason to visit Sintra. Lying on the foot of the Sintra hills and hearing the call of the Atlantic waves is fascinating.

Sintra offers some beautiful beaches, however, some of these are difficult to attain, due to the scarps surrounding them. Praia Grande is one of the most beautiful beaches in Sintra. It offers the right conditions for wake-boarding.  Offshore winds usually blow from the east while the best swell direction that has been recorded, is from the northwest.
