Navacerrada is located on the borders of the provinces of Madrid and Segovia. The spot's pistes run in the wooded valley of Valsain and it is very close to Valdesqui resort.
The spot offers 8 lifts and 15 trails of 10 km/6 mi in total with a vertical drop of 314 m/1030 ft. The first lift is at 1760 m/5774 ft and the highest point, accessible through the lifts, is Guarramillas at 2179 m/7148 ft. Among the 15 trails, 4 are easy and 9 are intermediate, and there is also 1 difficult track and a snow-park.
The resort is equipped with a system of artificial snow, including 60 snow cannons. It is recommended for both beginners as well as more demanding snowboarders. There are a lot of shops, training schools and clubs in the area where you can buy, repair or even rent your equipment.
