Telemark is the new tendency in the snow world. Named after the homonym region in Norway, this identifiable technique with the bent-knee curves is the oldest skiing style.

Recently it has become the new trend in the resorts slopes with many faithful fans. Telemark is less demanding in terms of conditions and snow quality, that is why the sport is getting more attractive. In many winter resorts, in Trentino-Alto Adige, it is possible to rent equipment while instructors would assist you in enjoying this fascinated ski version.

Passo Tonale, in Trentino side, offers endless runs even for the most demanding skier. The high altitude and the long and wide slopes create the perfect conditions to practice Telemark skiing. On the other side, in Alto Adige, ideal location is Canazei – Marmolada in Val di Fassa. This reintroduction of telemark skiing rapidly gains fans and very often events and races are taking place in the winter resorts.
