Tamarack Lodge Resort is located in Mammoth Lakes, near Mammoth Mountain, in California’s eastern Sierra about 100 mi/161 km south of Nevada State line Mono County, California, USA.

Tamarack is unique, because it offers the only winter resort, complete with a full service Ski Center in Mammoth. The Ski Center lies next to Tamarack Lodge. The resort lies at an elevation of 8500 ft/2591 m. Average snowfall is 400 in/1.016 cm. Lift tickets are available.

If you don’t know how to ski, don’t worry, because the Ski Center’s staff has the required knowledge. There are also learning and training programs along with ski rentals, basic supplies and winter gear. There are restrooms all the way of the trail system.

You can also locate maps, marking trails throughout. You can ski when weather and conditions permit it. If you get hungry or cold, go inside the lodge, enjoy a hot cup of chocolate and warm up in front of the fireplace.
