Sunshine Coast is situated between Port Elizabeth and East London in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. Port Alfred is one of the little magical towns in Sunshine Coast with endless golden beaches along the Indian Ocean.
Sand-boarding is very popular here and is open to all levels. The dunes are easily accessible and before embarking on the boards, there is a small intro on how to use and wax the boards.
The expeditions normally last from 2 – 6 hours. It is advisable to start on the smaller dunes as work yourself to steeper dunes and you can try sand-boarding while standing, sitting or lying down on the board.
