Ras Sudr Bay enjoys excellent constant winds, at around 17 knots/31.5 kph for a long period. The summer is long lasting with no notable humidity. The wide sandy beach and the relatively shallow waters make the Bay a hot kite spot. The morphology of the area with small lagoons formed alongside the beach, offer, especially to the novice, safe conditions for kiting.
The best period to visit the spot and perform kite-surfing is from April to September. Those beaches, being very wide and not dreadfully crowded, are just ideal for kite surfing.
