The Turks and Caicos Islands lie in the Lucayan Archipelago and are a British Overseas Territory consisting of eight islands: West Caicos, Providenciales, East Caicos, South Caicos, North and Middle Caicos, Grand Turk and Saly Cay. Only East and West Caicos are uninhabited. Apart from a superb tourist destination, they are also well-known as an offshore financial center. The climate of the islands is classified as marine tropical, providing relatively consistent temperatures throughout the year.

Campeche beach, in Santa Catarina island, is considered among the best locations for kiting in Brazil. The sandy beach has many launching and landing points and it is the perfect place for kiting. The area is ideal for down-winders who prefer to sightseeing a little bit while flight.
A wide variety of spots will give both to experienced and beginner kite-surfers the chance to practice their favorite sport. Fall (August, September, October and November) is the period that offers the best kite-surfing conditions but thanks to the place’s great topography and exposure to the Atlantic ocean, there are excellent kiting conditions all the time, until March. When cold fronts come from the Atlantic ocean, the waves can reach up to 9.8 ft/3 m.
