The average depth here is at 8 m/26.2 ft and the maximum is at 9.5 m/31.2 ft. Visibility is medium and varies from 5 m/16.4 ft to 10 m/32.8 ft. In addition, the spot is suitable for more experienced divers.
North Mole is home to many sponges, hard and soft corals. Divers are able to witness an abundant marine life here, including port jackson shark, crayfish, bulleye, ells, old wives and the blue devil. There is also a small shipwreck in the area, probably the Gareenup, lying at about 10 m/32 ft of water. Furthermore, this site is great night dive and free diving.
Last but not least, Perth is at about 30 minutes drive from the spot, providing a plethora of accommodation options, good restaurants and bars to relax and have fun. Note: be careful of boat traffic and fishing lines.
