First of all, the prolific and varied fish and coral life which are the main features of all caribbean islands, especially Antigua’s. There is a quite large variety of marine life, comprising especially of small fish, and of course colorful corals worth exploring.
Secondly, the wreck of the Andes is very interesting for the general ship construction. It’s a feasible dive site even for beginners, as the wreck lies in a depth that reaches at just 9.1 m/30 ft below the sea level. The temperature of the water averages at about 25˚C/77˚F all the year. The underwater visibility is quite good.
