Valdelinares is situated in the highest altitude municipal district of Spain, in the Sierra de Gudar mountains of Sistema Iberico. The area is covered with forests of black pine trees.
The spot provides 10 lifts and 10 trails of 9 km (5.6 mi) in total with a vertical drop of 324 m (1059 ft). The first lift is at 1700 m (5577 ft) and the peak is at 2024 m (6640 ft). There are 3 beginner, 4 easy, 3 intermediate trails and a snow-park for the more adventurous snowboarders.
The resort is equipped with a system of artificial snow, including 117 snow cannons and is open throughout the winter season. There are a lot of shops, training schools and clubs in the area where you can buy, repair or even rent your equipment.
