Scuba diving at Nyali Beach is basically practiced most of the year although visibility is scarce between July and August due to silting and high seas.

At depths of between 10-22 m / 32-72 ft marine life would include variety species of coral fish and a slight chance of seeing a whale shark passing by. Large fish like the white tip reef sharks, groupers and the like would be found at greater depths of 30 m/98 ft and above.
