Guadalquivir River, Seville
Seville is the capital and largest city of the autonomous community of Andalusia in the Seville province. The city is situated on the plain of the Guadalquivir River.
If you like SUP and you find yourself in Greece, there is a great place near Athens to practice or even learn SUP. Nissakia is situated near the city of Loutsa in Artemida and is a place full of water sport practitioners. The conditions are continuously ideal, always depending on the type of SUP you want, training or expert riding.
When the crystal clear wave is at its usual form, choppy and small less than 1 m/3.3 ft, then the conditions are perfect for training. When the frontal, thermal wind blows from its best direction, that is north, north-northwest and northwest with strength, more than the usual 7 knots/13 kph, then the waves transform to excellent ride-able waves, ready to welcome experts!
Hazards are few and usual, as sea–urchins, rocks near the shore, reefs and animals. The beach is small, sandy, with pebbles and dirt at the shore and rocks and trees that usually prevent beach users. When the conditions are perfect, the spot is ultra crowded with insane water sport enthusiasts, so you should be extra careful.
It is highly suggested to visit this spot, regardless the level of experience and the type of SUP you want to practice.
