Beachy Head is a coastal location, at about 3.2 km/2 mi in the southwest of Eastbourne. The site is considered to be the highest chalk sea cliff in Britain and a great spot for paragliding. The altitude of the launch area is at 163 m/534.5 ft above sea level and the take off point is found at 50°44’20” (50.7391)N; 0°15’12” (0.25343)E. The best wind direction is from the south, southeast.
Admire stunning views of the south east coast, from Dungeness to Selsey Bill, while you are floating through the air. There is a large bowl that faces southeast, with a large landing area.
