It is the best way to explore and admire the marine environment of this location. The average water temperature is around 20°C/68°F in summer and around 5°C/41°F in winter. The site hosts several options of kayak tour centers and accommodates both the beginner and expert kayaker of a reasonable fitness. Keep in mind that, offshore winds blow from the north and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest.
If you rent a kayak, the usual launch area is close to Brighton Marina, but if you have your own gear, you can launch from everywhere you want. In addition, you can choose to either paddle alone or request for a guided tour. Also, you are able to choose a single or double of which both are solid and stable. Finally, you should bring a dry change of clothes and drinking water.
