Outer Banks, also known as OBX, is a 200 mi/322 km long string of narrow barrier islands of the coast of North Carolina. Good swell direction is from northeast and it starts working at less than 1 m / 3 ft, holding up gradually. The best tide position is low and mid tide. Good wind direction is from southeast.
