It provides with a good wave quality taking both right and left directions and the power of the wave is fast and fun to ride.

The wind is coming compressed from Maui’s volcanic mountain. The sea is sandy with a few rocks and has a small protected lagoon, called baby beach. Outside of this, windsurfing can get pretty difficult. Paia Bay is a popular wind surfing destination, so during weekends is crowded. Windsurfers should be careful of rip currents, rocks and sharks.
