Saint Petersburg is a city situated on the Neva river, at the head of the Gulf of Finland on the Baltic Sea. The federal subject of Saint Petersburg has its name changed three times, from Saint Petersburg to Petrograd, then Leningrad and back to Saint Petersburg.

One of the best places for amazing adventure winter holidays is St. Petersburg. There are ski resorts that attract all kind of snowboarders who just want to ride their snowboards! A very popular resort in the St. Petersburg area is Snezhniy – Korobitsyno Ski Resort.

The facility is at a distance of 1 1/2 hour drive from Saint Petersburg and it is approachable by car or bus. The available tracks are suitable for all levels from professionals to completely novices. Everybody can enjoy the tracks, as they are divided into 2 for novices, 2 for intermediate, 2 for advanced and 1 for expert snowboarders.

With the vertical drop that is created between the highest point of the resort and its base, you can perform many tricks with your snowboard. This is not the only place to practice though, as Snezhniy – Korobitsyno features a snowboard park especially for snowboarders that is equipped with kvoter-pipe, ski jump of different sizes, big-air, boarder-cross and ski-cross tracks and rails for those who like jibbing-a.

At weekends, competitions are held and you can take part or just watch the show that along with the festival carnivals make a unique weekend experience.

The resort is very well organized and offers services, such as skating rink, restaurants and cafes, nightlife or equipment rentals and repairs, snow cannons and even babysitting!! This way your vacation will definitely be unforgettable!!!
