Pont des Basses is an exposed beach break near St Cyprien. It is very easy to find, as soon as you have passed the campsite, you will be on a long straight. It’s just before the first roundabout and the bridge, a few hundred meters from Canet.
The spot welcomes kiters of all skill levels. The quality of the kitesurf isn’t affected by the tide. In addition, the ideal wind direction is from the southeast and is oriented on shore, slightly side shore. Riders can perform freestyle, freeride, bump & jump. Pont des Basses is also a popular site for wind surfers, so be careful. The ideal period to visit the spot is during summer months. Last but not least, you can find schools and shops in the area with qualified staff willing to help you with everything you need.
