Miracle Waters diving site is situated on the site of a former open-cast chrome mine located at just a few kilometers from Brits town in North West. It is an altitude dive of about 1500 m/ 4921 ft above sea level with clear warm water. Surrounded by natural bush and farmlands, it is a very popular site for the novice diver, open water dive training site as well as technical diving experts who look to perfect their skills on wreck and cave diving.
The maximum dive depth here is at 33 m/108 ft with visibility standing over 10 m/33 ft, where diving facilities include air-fills and gear rental. Though it is obvious one cannot expect corals and tropical fish, Miracle Waters still has some fish species to offer. Expect to observe numerous bass groupers and kurpers at the shallow end while the experienced diver is in for a treat at the deeper ends with anything from the puma to the computer station!!
