Shark Point is located on the north side of Clovelly Poll in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, close to the famous Bondi beach. If you are a scuba diving enthusiast, then you should visit this place. The spot is suitable for experienced divers in calm weather, due to its depth and its exposed location. The average depth of the site is at 15 m/49.2 ft and the maximum depth is at 26 m/85.3 ft.
Visibility rate is pretty good and it can be dived all year long, depending on weather conditions. Access to the water is from the headland on northern point of the bay. Water temperature is up to 21°C/69.8°F in summer and early autumn months and between 14-18°C/57.2-64.4°F in winter.
Divers will have the opportunity to witness an amazing marine life. Expect to see Wobbygong sharks, blue devilfish, Kingfish, shovelnose rays, cuttlefish and plenty of schooling fish.
