Tonga Ridge Trail is located on the Central Cascade Mountain, at the Wenatchee National Forest. It is 7 mi/11 km long (out and back), about five hours hike with an elevation gain of 1400 ft/426 m.
The trail is open for snowshoeing from November through December and is suitable for all skill levels and ages. Tonga Ridge Trail is considered to be one of the best snowshoe trails in the state. By November, the snow is more than enough and the mountain view is unbelievable.
