Wenatchee River Road is located on the Cascade Mountain, before Wenatchee Lake. It is 8.5 mi/13.6 km long, out and back and has an elevation gain of 720 ft/219 m. The best time to bike this trail is from early spring to late fall and it is suitable for all skill levels. However there are a few steep climbs and descents that need caution if you are a beginner.
Wenatchee River Road is a great ride that follows the river with some great spots for camping or picnic. During spring, there is a wide variety of wildflowers that grow along the road side. Don’t forget to take with you plenty of water, energy snacks, a map and a compass.
