Heavenly Mountain Resort is located near the city of South Lake Tahoe, on the California-Nevada border, El Dorado County, California, USA.

As a result of that, part of ski resort is in California and another part is in Nevada. Heavenly is a popular spot for snowboarders. Terrains consist of acres of hair raising steps, easy beginners slopes, powder bowls, wide groomed long trails and five terrain parks.

Advanced snowboarding is made on Gunbarrel in California’s side, but most terrains are in Nevada’s side. Intermediate snowboard is made in Ske Express Chairlift, which gives the option to turn right and head down the cruising Liz’s Trail.

Alternatively, you may turn left on the Skyline Trail so you can link with the maze on the Dipper and Cornet Express Chairlifts. If you are a beginner, you should try out the Boulder Lift at Boulder Lodge and First Time at California Lodge.
