The area offers many ice climbing trails of various lengths, through beautiful scenery. One of the main tracks is a circular trail that starts at Candanchu at 1551 m (5088 ft) and takes you to Aspe Corredor Norte.
The trail is recommended mostly for experienced climbers. The cumulative elevation is at 1188 m (3897 ft) with the highest point at 2645 m (8677 ft) and the lowest at 1551 m (5088 ft), while the length of the trail is 12 km/7.45 mi.
The best time of the year to visit is during the winter months, from December to February, as this is the time during which most trails have snow and ice. There are training professionals that know the area very well, offering family or group trips to the natural environment of Candanchu.
