There are ski lifts on both sides of Donner Summit and it is near Boreal. Inside there is a rustic lodge, which has been renovated by the current owners. Its vertical drop is 750 ft/228.6 m. Top elevation is 7781 ft/2371 m and base elevation is 7031 ft/2143 m. Skiable area covers 435 ac/1.76 km² on which there are 52 runs.
Runs are 25% for beginners, 50% for intermediate and 25% for advanced skiers and specifically from these runs, 16 are for beginners, 20 for intermediate and 16 for advanced skiers. It has a lift system of 8 lifts including, 5 doubles, 1 triple and 2 moving carpets.
Biggest run is 1.5 mi/2.4 km. Average snowfall is 396 in/1006 cm. If you don’t know how to ski, don’t worry, the resort offers ski lessons.
